7.15.2 Bleeding the central lubrication system
If the grease container is empty or contains bubbles, you must bleed the
central lubrication system.
The grease container (3) must be full.
• Undo the connection (4).
• Switch on the ignition.
• Remove the cap (1) and press button (2)
once for approx. 2 seconds. Repeat the pro-
cedure until the grease flowing from the
connection no longer contains any bubbles
.
• Attach the connection and the cap.
• Remove any grease that has escaped.
7.15.3 Triggering intermediate lubrication
Intermediate lubrication should be triggered,
– after high pressure cleaning,
– to check the lubrication system at all lubricating points.
• Switch on the ignition.
• Remove the cap (1) and press button (2)
once for approx. 2 seconds.
An intermediate lubrication cycle will be trig-
gered which lasts approximately 3 minutes.
Check whether grease is applied to
all lubricat-
ing points (steering arms on the 1st, 2nd and
3rd axle lines).
• Switch off the ignition and remove any
excess grease.
• Fasten the cap.
