In the following the individual error messages that may appear on
the display are shown in the following systematic manner:
Short description
Remedy
The front cover has not been closed completely.
Please close it completely.
The printer has no paper.
Please load paper. Check whether paper is set correctly or not
(see section 3.1).
Paper jam in the fusing section.
Remove the jammed paper (see section 8.3).
Paper jam behind the fusing section.
Remove the jammed paper (see section 8.3).
Paper jam in the exit unit.
Remove the jammed paper (see sections 8.3).
There is no more fanfold paper on the tractor.
Check whether paper is set correctly or not (compare section 3.1).
Knob "B" (scuff roller) is free.
Turn knob "B" counterclockwise to lock (see section 8.3.2).
The paper path is open.
Use the green lever to close the paper path (compare section
8.3.2).
There is still paper within the output section.
Remove the paper (see section 8.3).
Check the tractor unit.
Close the tractor guides.
