• Adjust so that the cutter blade is positioned in front with respect to the center of the
platen cutter groove. The cutter blade may not align with the groove due to the type of
media used, assembly errors or component inaccuracy.
7. After adjusting, tighten the cutter unit retaining screws.
8. Move the carriage slowly to check the position on either side.
• Be sure to push down on the cutter blade at the left edge, center, and right edge of the
platen to confirm that it is positioned in front with respect to the center of the platen
cutter groove.
9. Follow the procedure in the reverse order for assembly.
