l Overview
This is used to check the NCU (clogging detection unit) sensor sensitivity.
• Perform a test print before testing to confirm that the nozzles are not clogged. Test with no
nozzle clogging.
l Procedure (Sensor check)
1. Select [#Test] > [NCU] > [Sensor Chk], then press the [ENTER] key.
2. Press the [ENTER] key several times to check the following value (sensor sensitivity).
3. If the value is less than 130, perform the following steps:
(1) Clean the NCU.
Reference: Operating Manual > Maintenance > Daily Maintenance > NCU Cleaning
(2) Perform "Slant Adjust"(P. 142) for the NCU.
(3) Replace the NCU.
