3.1.8 Adjusting the Path of the Feeding and Take-up Units
l Overview
Check the path length of the feeding unit and take-up unit.
• If the path length is different on both sides, this may cause image quality problems or transport
errors.

(1) Stainless steel wire (P. 17)
l Procedure
1. Set the paper tube in the feeding unit or take-up unit.
2. Remove the O-ring of the clamp on the right end, and insert the end of the wire on to the pinch roller
spindle.

3. Reattach the O-ring.
4. Feed the wire through the paper tube.

5. Apply tension to the wire and tape it.
6. Check to confirm the wire is set vertically.
• Stand approximately 1 m apart before checking. If it is not set vertically, repeat the steps again.
