12. Follow the procedure in the reverse order for assembly.
• Do the following to attach the belt:
(1) Attach the belt so that it is level between the pulleys.

Belt toward bottom
Belt at an angle
13. Apply grease (P. 16) to the Y Drive Belt upper and lower end faces.
• Use a clean stick to apply evenly.
• Be careful to avoid leaving grease on the linear encoder scale and the LM guide.
14. Wipe off excess grease.
15. Check to confirm that there is no grease on the linear encoder scale and the LM guide.
