5. Once desired emission filters are removed, replace the Filter
Cover.
Or, if you want to install new emission filters into the system,
proceed to the next section for instructions.
Installing an Emission Filter
The emission filter wavelengths are automatically identified by the
system and can be selected from the ScreenWorks Software menu.
To install a filter:
1. To install emission filters, grasp the filter you wish to install by
its Tab, located where the filter table is, and place it into the
appropriate filter position. Typically, this is the rightmost
Position 1 in the slider. Insert the rear of the filter first, making
sure it fits into the specific filter position. Push the tab down, so
that the Filter Indexer clicks into the position. A notch on front
of the tab should align with one of the lines on the Filter Tray.
2. Subsequent filters can be installed by repeating the above steps
in Positions 2 and 3.
3. The emission filter wavelengths are identified by the system and
passed to the ScreenWorks Software where they can be selected
from drop-down menus.
WARNING! Be careful not to leave any fingerprints on the
filter itself.
Note: When using all 3 filter positions, do not duplicate
wavelengths, as this will cause a fault in the software.
