Cell Reservoir
Installing Cell Reservoir
Initial installation has to be performed by a Molecular Devices certified
field service engineer, however if the Cell Reservoir was removed
following instructions in Uninstalling Cell Reservoir. on page 147,
reinstall it as follows:
1. Ensure the tubing connection to the connector is tight.
2. Align the Reservoir Connector to the Cell Reservoir and
tighten the two Captive Thumb Screws.
3. Insert the Cell Reservoir into the Source Plate 3 position.
4. Go to the Instrument menu and select Refresh
Configuration. The Instrument Status tab displays Cell
Reservoir: OK.
This status indicates that only the Cell Reservoir can be selected
for the Source Plate 3 position.
5. Perform a Manual Wash (see Wash Cell Reservoir Process on
page 127) and inspect the cell reservoir area to ensure that
there is no fluid leakage.
