Electra Elite IPK II Document Revision 4C
IP Station (MEGACO) – MG 16 2 - 557
Operation
Registration Override for MEGACO Phones
The registration override feature gives users access to their IP telephone from any location by using the
override login function. Users can log into their IP Station in the office or remotely at the home office.
Use registration override and enter the override access code.
The above example displays the user using the Override function in the Central Office and remote Home
Office. Two IP Phones are required; each IP Phone registers as 3999. When the IP Phone is registered
as extension 3999, the other phone is in Registration Override Mode.
The IP Phones share the IP extension; one assumes the extension number and the other remains in the
override mode.
