Shutting Down the Me lter
Shut down the melter when it will not be used for an extended period of time.
1. Switch the melter Off.
The Automatic Pressure Discharge (APD) valve relieves the hydraulic
pressure back to the tank.
2. Disable the applicators as follows:
S Air-operated applicators: Turn off the air supply to the applicators.
S Electric applicators: Turn off the applicator driver, pattern controller,
or timer.
