TROUBLESHOOTING RUDDER CONTROL SYSTEM
Trouble Cause Remedy
Lost motion between rudder Cable tension too low. Adjust cable tension.
pedals and rudder.
Linkage loose or worn. Check linkage and tighten
or replace.
Broken pulley. Replace pulley.
Bolts attaching rudder to Tighten bellcrank bolts.
bellcrank are loose.
Excessive resistance to System not lubricated Lubricate system.
