TROUBLESHOOTING VACUUM SYSTEM
Trouble Cause Remedy
Vacuum correct but pilot Regulator sticky. Clean regulator.
reports pressure erratic or
shows complete loss in flight.
Oil in pump(s) due to leaky Replace pump(s).
engine seal or cleaning fluid
blown into pump(s) while
cleaning engine.
Pressure can only be maintained Leak in system. Repair or replace lines.
at full throttle on ground.
Worn pump(s). Replace pump(s).
Stuck regulator. Clean or replace regulator.
