3 - Air conditioning switch

Press the switch to turn on the air
conditioning system. The light indic-
ator will illuminate.
Press the switch again to turn off.
NOTE
Press the A/C switch when the
blower speed selection dial is turn
on, and the air conditioning unit
(cooling/dehumidifying/function)
will operate.
A mist may be seen coming from
the outlets for a few moments dur-
ing cooling. This is simply result of
humid air being suddenly cooled.
4 - Blower speed selection dial
Adjust the blower speed control
dial to the left or right direction to
control the amount of air flow.
The setting for ordinary use should
be from low to high speed. At the
most left position, air conditioning
unit will turn off.

Set the Temperature control dial and air
selection switch to the positions shown
in the illustration and press the air con-
ditioning switch. Adjust the temperature
by turning the temperature control dial
to the left or right within the range.
Select the desired blower speed.
CAUTION
(1) If the outside air is dirty, set
the air selection switch (2) to
the “Recycle” position.
(2) To operate the system at high-
cooling performance, set the
air selection switch (2) to the
“Recycle” position. Turn the
temperature control dial to the
most right side.
The windows can possibly get
fog. Set the air selection switch
(2) to the “Fresh air” position
regularly to increase the ventil-
ation.
(3) Long hours of during may
cause drowsiness. Regularly set
the air selection switch (2) to
the “Fresh air” position to
make sure sufficient oxygen in
the cabin.

The air conditioning and heating system
can only be operated while the engine
is running.
The performance of the air conditioning
and heating system is directly related to
the temperature of the engine coolant,
so operate the air conditioning and
heating system after the engine has had
a chance to warm up. The amount of air
