Ignition OFF Unlock
When you stop the vehicle and turn the
ignition to the OFF position, all doors
automatically unlock.
To disable
You can disable this function of automat-
ic unlock.
While the ignition is in the ON position,
press and hold the central-door lock
switch for a while.

A – Alarm LED indicator
The alarm LED indicator is located at
meter cluster (as shown in the illustra-
tion). It shows the status of current
vehicle security mode as follow:
• LED indicator is ON for 6 second –
pre arm mode. *
Pre arm : Vehicle is preparing to
enter arm state. Alarm is still not
functioning.
• LED indicator blinks – vehicle is in
arm mode.
Arm mode: If there is an intrusion,
alarm will trigger. Horn/siren* will
sound and hazard light will flash.
• LED indicator is OFF – vehicle is in
disarm mode.
Disarm mode: No alarm
NOTE
It is important to make sure this vehicle’s
alarm system is set to arm mode
whenever leaving the vehicle unatten-
ded – using the remote key’ s lock button
.
Child-lock at Rear Doors

The child-lock will not let a child acci-
dentally open the rear doors.
CAUTION
When you drive with a child in the
rear seat, make sure you set the
child-lock to lock position.

Each rear door has a child-lock release
switch (B), as shown in the illustration.
Operation of child lock release switch
1 – To lock
Move the lever to the right to set the
child lock to LOCK position.
While in LOCK position, you cannot
open the rear doors from inside the
vehicle.
When the child-lock is in operation, use
the outer-door handle to open the rear
door.
