Move the lever to the left to set the
child lock to FREE position.
If the switch is set to FREE position, the
child-lock mechanism will disable.

Operation from outside the vehicle
After you use the remote transmitter to
unlock the vehicle, pull the outer-door
handle to open the door.
In case of emergency, when you cannot
unlock the doors with the remote
transmitter, do these steps:

1 - Put the key blade into the cover slot
(A) as shown in the illustration.
Twist the key and the cover (A) will
open.
2 - Remove the cover (A). Put the key
into the key cylinder (B).
3 - Turn the key to the left side to un-
lock
4 - Turn the key to the right side to
lock.
Operation from inside the vehicle

Pull the inside-door handle toward you
to open the door.
CAUTION
Make sure you close all doors be-
fore you start to drive.
Do not lock the doors while the key
is inside the vehicle.
