A - Jacking point
WARNING
When you lift the vehicle with a
jack, make sure you install the
wheel chocks or blocks to the cor-
rect tyre . If the lifted vehicle moves
, the jack can move from its position
and cause an accident.
NOTE
(1) The wheel chocks shown in the illus-
tration do not come with the
vehicle. Keep the wheel chock in
the vehicle for use when necessary.
(2) If no wheel chock is available, use
a rock or other objects with a same
size to hold the wheel in position.
8. Install the jack at the jacking points
shown in the illustration. Make use
the jacking point near to the tyre (B).

9. Turn the jack until the flange part
(B) installs in the groove at the top
of the jack.

10. Install the bar (C) into the wheel nut
wrench (D). Set the end of the bar
to the shaft end of the jack, as
shown in the illustration.
Slowly turn the wheel nut wrench
until the tyre is high enough to fit
the inflated spare tyre.
CAUTION
(1) Use only the jack included with
the vehicle.
(2) Use only the jack to change the
wheels and install tyre-chains.
NOTE
(1) To lift the vehicle, turn jack handle
to the right-side direction.
(2) To lower the vehicle, turn jack
handle to the left-side direction.
How to Change a Tyre

Before changing a tyre, first stop the
vehicle in a safe, flat location.
1. Park the vehicle on level and stable
ground, without loose small stones.
2. Correctly set the parking brake.
3. Turn on the hazard flashers and in-
stall the supplied warning triangle.
4. Flash signal lamp at sufficient dis-
tance from the vehicle and have all
passengers leave the vehicle.
5. Install the wheel chock or block (A)
at the tyre that is opposite from the
tyre (B) you change. If wheel chocks
are not available, use a rock or
other object with a same size.
