jury.
(2) Always put the jack on a flat,
hard surface.
If the jack is placed on a hill or
soft surface, the jack may tip
over; the vehicle will fall and
cause an accident. Before pla-
cing the jack, make sure the
surface is away from any loose
stones / pebbles.
(3) Make sure the jack is placed on
a level and hard ground.
(4) Make sure the vehicle wheels
on the ground are provided
with a stopper; no person
should be in the vehicle when
the car is jacked.
(5) When the vehicle is jack, no
person or body part should be
under the vehicle.
WARNING
(1) Lift the vehicle until the tyre
position is high to install or re-
move the tyre or tyre-chain.

(2) Do not go below the vehicle
while the vehicle is on the jack.
(3) Do not move or leave the lifted
vehicle hold on the jack for ex-
tended time.
(4) Do not start or operate the en-
gine while the vehicle is on the
jack. The vehicle may move and
the jack possibly tip over.
(5) Do not turn the lifted wheels.
The tyres remaining on the
ground may turn, causing the
vehicle body to fall off the jack.
How to use the jack
Before jacking the vehicle, first stop the
vehicle in a safe, flat location.
1. Park the vehicle on a level and stable
ground without any loose stones /
pebbles.
2. Turn on the hazard flashers.
3. Install a warning triangle.
4. Flash signal lamp at sufficient dis-
tance from the vehicle and have all
the passengers leave the vehicle.
5. Put the ignition to the “OFF” or
LOCK" position.
6. Correctly engage the parking brake.
(For vehicle with manual transmission)
Move the gear lever to the "N" (neutral)
position.
(For vehicle with automatic transmission
AT or CVT) Move the gear lever to the
"P" (park) position.

7. Put a wheel chock or block (A) at the
