Weather strips
Apply a silicone grease to the weather
strips at the door and hood openings.
This silicone grease helps to prevent
these weather strips from getting
frozen.
Maintenance on tyres

To safely operate the vehicle, ther tyres
must be in good condition with suffi-
cient tread and correctly inflated.
This section shows how to check the
tyres and make sure these tyres are in
good condition.
Tyres visual check
Check the tyres for any cuts and other
damage caused by metal pieces or small
stones / pebbles.
Check the tyres for any bulges or bumps
in the tread or side of the tyre.
Immediately replace the tyre if the tyre
condition as follows:
1. There are deep cuts or cracks.
2. There is visible fabric or cord.
3. The tyre tread has worn.
CAUTION
Do not drive with worn tyres. Worn
tyres possibly can cause your
vehicle to skid on a wet road.

How to Read Your Treads
Make sure the tread depth of the tyres
is more than 1.6 mm.
Some tyres have wear indicators on the
tyres. Worn tyres will show these wear
indicators in six areas on the surface of
the tyres. Immediately replace the worn
tyres.
Check the tyre inflation pressure
Correctly inflated tyres gives the combin-
ation of better driving, fuel economy
and tread life and even tyre near.
Visually check tyres before driving.
Normally tyres pressure decreases 10 to
20 kPa (0.1 to 0.2kgf/cm) a month. Reg-
ularly use a tyre gauge to measure the
pressure of each tyre and the spare tyre.
If the tyre pressure is low, use a tyre
gauge to measure the pressure.
Cold tyre inflation pressure

There is label that shows the recommen-
ded cold tyre pressure at your doorjamb.
Check the pressure of all tyres when
these tyres are cold.
