NOTE
Tyres are cold when the vehicle is parked
at minimum three hours or driven less
than a kilometre.
After adjusting the tyre inflation pres-
sure, check the tyres for any damage
and air leaks.
Make sure again the rubber caps are
reinstalled on the values.
Rotation of tyres
On a front-wheel drive vehicle, the front
tyres steer the vehicle and give traction.
The front tyres tread can wear faster
than the rear tyres.
Tyre wear may not be the same for all
tyres due ro incorrect tyre pressure,
wheel alignment and sudden braking.
PROTON recommends that rotation of
tyres be carried out every 20,000 km.
The rotation of tyres helps to balance
the wear and extend the tyre life.

Change the position of the wheels in
sequence as shown in the illustration.
When you do the rotation, check the
tyres condition (refer to topic Tyres
visual check).
Go to an authorised PROTON service
outlet to have all wheels checked.
