Central-door Lock (CDL)

The CDL switch is in the centre of instru-
ment panel.
A – CDL indicator lamp
To lock
When you are in the vehicle with the
doors close, press the CDL switch to lock
all doors. The CDL indicator lamp will il-
luminate to indicate that CDL is activ-
ated.
To unlock
When you are in the vehicle with the
doors closed and locked, press the CDL
switch to unlock all doors. The CDL indic-
ator lamp will turn off to indicate that
CDL is deactivated.
NOTE
(1) In an emergency, use the key slot
at the driver’s door to unlock the
doors. Refer to page 36.
(2) If you open the door and the alarm
system starts an alarm warning, you
can reset the alarm warning by
starting the engine.
Other operations using central door lock
(CDL)
When central door lock is in operation,
the vehicle lock system will operate as
follows:
1. When you press the button (2) on
the remote transmitter, all doors
will lock. When you press again the
button (2), all doors will unlock.
2. When you put the key blade into
the key hole on the driver’s door
and turn the key to the left, all
doors will lock. When you turn the
key to the right, all doors will un-
lock.
3. When you pull the lock tab on the
driver door, all doors will unlock.
When you push the lock tab on the
driver door, all doors will lock.
