Headlamp Aiming Adjuster

This vehicle has a headlamp aiming ad-
juster on the left and right headlamps
to set the light beam position of the
headlamps higher or lower as shown in
below illustration.

U – Adjust light beam position upward
D – Adjust light beam position down-
ward
Refer to your PROTON service outlet if
headlamp aiming adjustment is neces-
sary.

Pull the lever. The washer will continue
to spray a washer fluid onto the wind-
screen and the wipers will continue to
operate until the lever is released.
Follow these precautions when
using the wiper and washer
1. When the glass is dry, do not oper-
ate the wipers. The wiper can dam-
age the glass surface or the wiper
blades can get worn.
2. Before operating the wipers in cold
weather, make sure that the wiper
blades are not frozen to the glass.
This condition can cause damage to
the motor.
3. Do not use the washer continuously
for more than 20 seconds. Do not
operate the washer if there is no
washer fluid in its reservoir. These
conditions can cause damage to the
pump.
