Alarm system features
Your vehicle is equipped with a remote trans-
mitter with specific switches which allows you
to perform the locking/unlocking the vehicle’s
doors and arming/disarming the alarm system
of this vehicle. Details of these operations are
described as below:
Arming
Press the LOCK button of the remote
transmitter.
When arming is activated;
• All doors will be locked
• Turn signal indication lamps will flash once
• Alarm LED indicator will ON for 6 seconds,
then blink *
• The door side view mirror will fold auto-
matically *
Disarming
Press the UNLOCK button of the remote
transmitter.
When disarming is activated;
• All doors will be unlocked (If doors are
closed)
• Interior light will fade in (if room lamp
switch is at door position) for 30 seconds *
• Turn signal indication lamps will flash
twice
• Unfold automatically: In case of driver
manually fold the outside rear view mirror
before leaving the vehicle, outside rear
view mirror will not unfold automatically.
Panic button
Press the PANIC button of the remote
transmitter shall activate panic alarm mode.
Press the PANIC button again to deactiv-
ate the panic alarm mode.
NOTE
The button can be pressed in arming or disarm-
ing mode.
During panic alarm mode;
• Horn/siren* will sound continuously
• Hazard lights will flash rapidly
Intrusion
Anti theft protection: Door(s) / tailgate / hood
/ ignition / starter protection
When the vehicle is in arm mode, the alarm
system will trigger an alarm warning if any
door(s) / hood / tail gate is opened while the
system is in arm mode.
