Tow the vehicle by a tow-carriage

When a tow-carriage tows your vehicle,
lift the front wheels high off the
ground.
CAUTION
(1) If the transmission does not
operate correctly or damaged,
send the vehicle with the front
wheels on a carriage. Use only
type C, D or E carriage.
(2) DO NOT tow the vehicles with
AT or CVT with the front
wheels on the ground (Type B).
Make sure the vehicle is towed
with the front wheels high off
the ground.
(3) DO NOT tow the vehicle by a
sling lift type of tow-carriage
(Type A) as shown. The sling
rope part may damage the
front bumper.
(4) When the vehicle travels down
a long slope, the brake may
become hot and not hold. Tow
the vehicle on a type D or E
equipment in such a situation.
(5) If the rear wheels do not oper-
ate correctly or damage, tow
the vehicle with type D or E
equipment.
(6) To prevent the entry of ex-
haust gas from the tow-equip-
ment, set the air selection knob
to an inside-air circulation pos-
ition.
(7) Make sure to turn off the igni-
tion when towing the vehicle
with Electronic Stability Con-
trol (ESC). If this type of vehicle
is towed, the ESC may be activ-
ated, causing an accident.
(8) When the AT or CVT transmis-
sion fluid level is low, DO NOT
tow the vehicle with the rear
wheels high off the ground .
Emergency Jump-start

If your engine does not start caused by
weak battery, use a jump-cable to jump-
start the engine.
Selection of jump-cable
1. Use the correct jump-cables that
can hold the capacity of the electric
current during jump-start; Incorrect
jump-cables can cause heat damage
to its cables. Check the product in-
formation.
2. Use only jump-cable with insulation
at the battery clamps.
3. Normally the insulation of the pos-
itive (+) clamp of the jump-cable is
shown as Red color. The insulation
of the negative (-) clamp of the
jump-cable is shown as Black color.
Prepare to connect the jump-cable
Get the other vehicle close enough for
the jump-cables to reach. Read these
precautions before connecting the jump-
cables.
