Description
Entries via the numeric keypad are indi>
cated above the flashing cursor (35) in the
display field (36).
The entry can be modified at any time by
actuating key CLR (24).
The entry can be disrupted by actuating
key MENU (15).
Complete entry by actuating key ENT (25).
Leading zeros are not required (example:
0.05 = .05).
Zeros which may be required after the de>
cimal point are automatically inserted
(example: 100.2 = 100.200).
Unpermissible entries are replaced by a
default value after actuating key ENT (25).
f If the LED assigned to key FRQ (32) is
illuminated, the frequency can be en>
tered via the numeric keypad.
f If the LED assigned to key CH (31) is il>
luminated, the channel number can
be entered via the numeric keypad.
f For R&S EK 895 only: If the LED as>
signed to key BFO (28) is illuminated,
the BFO frequency can be entered via
the numeric keypad.
Before entering a
f BFO frequency (EK 896) or
f frequency offset or
f notch filter frequency
the appropriate key (BFO [28], NOTCH /
PBT [29]) must be actuated.
