Setting the Output-start Location
You can set the output-start location at any location you prefer. (You can output if you do not set this.) Note,
however, that this setting must be made for each individual page because the setting returns to the default
position when output is completed for each page.*
* Note, however, that the left and right positions are not restored to their defaults for test patterns.
Procedure
Open the front cover.
Press
to move the center of the blade with the
output-start location.
Only cutting carriage moves.
When the location is set, press .
remains steadily lighted and when the screen dis-
plays the character “B” together with the output-possible
width at the location, setting is completed.

Never use in the following cases.
When you use the media take-up system.
The media may be pulled forcedly and result in errors or malfunctions.
Before or after the feed correction is made
Slackness in the roll media can make it impossible to obtain reliable correction results. Also, slackness
in the roll media after feed correction may cause slippage in the media's movement distance during
printing, resulting in horizontal stripes.
