Loading the Media onto the Media Take-up System
1.
Pass the media through the printer.
Move the dancer roller toward the rear.
Switch on the printer's sub power.
When selecting [TU] under the [SETUP SHEET] menu, be sure that the [PREFEED]
menu is set at [DISABLE].

Load the roll media onto the printer.

Fasten the media to the paper tube.
When you attach the paper tube, insert it securely onto the end caps on the take-up unit. For information on
how to install it, refer to the Setup Guide.
[ To perform output without pullback movement ]

to select "TU."
[ To perform output involving pullback movement ]
Press
and select [TU2].
Press .
