You can restore the STP parameters to its default configuration (except for
disabling STP) by using the spanning-tree reset command.
Enabling and Disabling the Spanning Tree Protocol
The spanning tree protocol is disabled on the device by default.
To enable the spanning tree protocol, execute the following command in the
privileged mode:

Enter the global configuration mode.
Ruijie(config)# spanning-tree
Enable the spanning tree protocol.
Ruijie(config)# end
Return to the privileged EXEC mode.
Ruijie# show spanning-tree
Verify the configuration.
Ruijie# copy running-config
startup-config
Save the configuration.
To disable the spanning tree protocol, use the no spanning-tree command in
the global configuration mode.
