Configuring Global Portal Server
The previous section has introduced how to create Portal Server using the portal-server command. After
the Portal Server is created, it will only take effect after being applied to web authentication. This section
introduces how to apply the Portal Server.
By default, the Portal Server named default for web authentication is used for global web authentication .
To specify another Portal Server, perform the following steps:

Enter the global configuration mode.
Ruijie(config)# portal-server eportalv2 ip
{ip-address [port port-num] [url url-string]
Creating a Portal Server
Ruijie(config)# web-auth portal eportalv2
Specify the global Portal Server.
Ruijie(config)# show running-config
View the configuration of the device.
To restore to the default Portal Server, execute the web-auth portal eportalv2 command in the global
configuration mode.
Configuration example:
# Create a portal server named centre-portal and specify it as the global Portal Server.
Ruijie# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Ruijie(config)# portal-server centre-portal ip 172.20.1.10 url
http://172.20.1.10:7080/index.php
Ruijie(config)#web-auth portal centre-portal
Ruijie(config)# show running-config
A Portal Server must be created before it can be used, or else the configuration will fail.
Before removing the configurations of a Portal Server, you need first to disable the
application of the Portal Server, or else a failure may occur to the authentication and
accounting.
