Transport and storage
Comply with permissible storage conditions (

p. 153, §12).
5.5.1 Transport protection
To prevent transport damage, the FLSE100-XT sender/receiver units must be secured
according to Fig. 16 before each transport.
Retract the transducer fully into the retraction nozzle.
Ensure in a suitable manner that the transducer cannot slip out of the retraction nozzle
during transport.

Special notes for handling the spool piece option
Transport and storage
During all transport and storage work, ensure:
The spool piece is well secured at all times
Measures are taken to avoid mechanical damage
Protect sealing surfaces of the flanges and the interior of the spool piece if it must be
stored outside for more than one day, e.g. with Anticorit spray (not required for spool
pieces made of stainless steel). Do the same if the meter must be stored in dry
conditions, but for more than a week.
