6.4.8.5 How to start the automatic synchronization
Requirement
The faceplate for the parameter data export is open.
Procedure
1. Select the "Automatic synchronization field device --> project" check box.
Result
If a difference in the parameter data between the device and project is detected or if a device
signals a configuration change independently, the complete parameter data are first read from
the device and saved in the project automatically.
The parameter data saved in the project are then exported to the specified destination.
The selected filter criteria are not taken into consideration for the device selection.
The values displayed in the "Export jobs for SIMATIC PDM" are not updated.
An active export job is not indicated in the icon.
A log file is not created on the maintenance station.
6.4.8.6 How to end the automatic synchronization
Requirement
The "Parameter data export" faceplate is open.
Procedure
1. Deselect the "Automatic synchronization field device --> project" check box.
Result
Automatic synchronization in the case of a configuration change has been ended.
