Changes in HW Config
Changes in the hardware configuration of the engineering system affect the displays in the
diagnostic screens.
After changes, perform the following tasks:
● Creating/updating the diagnostic screens (Page 80)
● Compilation and downloading of the Maintenance Station (Page 82)
Add OS server
Perform the following tasks if an OS server is added after creation of the diagnostic structure
in the multiproject/project:
● Assign OS server server data to the MS server

● Load MS server
You can find additional information about this in the section "Compilation and downloading
of the Maintenance Station (Page 82)".
Subsequently defining OS server as MS server
If an OS server is defined at a later point in time as MS server in a plant in operation, you need
to perform not only the configuration tasks described for the MS server but also a download
for the OS client, which assumes the role of the OS/MS client.
