Inordertoobtainaccurateechoes,itisveryimportantthatthesoundspeedthroughthe
waterissetcorrectly.Severalparametersarerequiredtocalculatethecorrectsoundspeed
value.Iftheseparametersarenotknowntoyou,usethedefaultvalue1494m/s.Thisisa
typicalmeanvalueforsoundspeed.
