ChoosingST90factorydefaultsettings
SometimesitmaybeusefultoresettheST90toworkwithasetofknownusersettings.A
setof"factorysettings"isprovidedforthispurpose.Thesettingsmaybeputtouseifyou
areuncertainofwhichvaluestouse.Theyoffer"bestpractice"settingsfortypicaluse.
Context
TheUserSettingsdialogboxisusedtostoreyourfavouriteST90settings.Thesesettingscan
berelatedtodifferentoperations,environmentalconditionsorbasicpersonalpreferences.
Youcanusedifferentsettingstocreateasmanyuserprolesasyoulike,andgivethem
anyname.AllthesettingsyouhavechosenusingfunctionsanddialogboxesintheST90
userinterfacearesaved.Toactivateeitherafactoryorasavedsetting,clicktherelevant
nameinoneofthelists,thenclicktheActivateSelectedSettingbutton.Thefactorysettings
cannotbealtered.
Note
Unlesstheyaresaved,allyourcurrentsettingsarelostwhenthefactorysettingsare
applied.Thereisno"undo".

3ObservetheFactorySettingslist.
4Selectthesettingyouwishtouse.

6SelectOKtoapplyyourchangesandclosetheUserSettingsdialogbox.
