1Makesurethatyouhavesufcientwaterdepthbelowthekeelbeforeyoulowerthe
transducer.
2SelectHullUnitonthetopbartoopentheHullUnitdialogbox.
3TolowerthetransducerselectDown.
4TohoistthetransducerselectUp.
5Tomovethetransducertoitspredenedmiddleposition,selectMiddle.
RetractingthetransducertoamiddlepositionmaybeusefulifyouusetheST90
simultaneouslywithothersonars.Ahigherpositionwillpermityoutoincreasethe
vesselspeed.Ifyouoperateinveryshallowwaters,youmayalsoreducetherisk
ofhittingbottom.However,placingthetransducerimmediatelyunderthehullmay
increasetheownoise.
