TheOperatingPanelcontrolstheloweringandhoistingofthetransducer.Incaseofapower
failurethetransducercanbehoistedorloweredmanuallybymeansofahandcrank.
Prerequisites
Youneedasuitablescrewdriver
oralargecointoopentheMotor
ControlUnitcabinet.Youalso
needa4mmAllenkey.
Context
Onlargerhullunits,thehoist
motorisprovidedwithamotor
brake.Themotorbrakemustbe
releasedbeforethetransduceris
manuallyloweredorhoisted.
Important
Whennotinuse,thehandcrank
mustalwaysbeplacedinside
theMotorControlUnit.When
removedfromitsstorageposition
thehandcrankreleasesasafety
switchwhichdisableshullunit
operation..
Procedure
1Makesurethatyouhavesufcientwaterdepthbelowthekeelbeforeyoulowerthe
transducer.
Ifyourvesselisindrydock,makesurethatyouhavesufcientheightbetweenthehull
andthedrydockoor.Thespaceunderthehullmustbefreefromtools,scaffolding,
personnelandotherobstacles.
2Removethemainsfusesforthehullunit.
3Openthecabinetdoor.
4LocatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301).
5DeactivatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301)bypressingtheoperatinghandletoOFF.
6Loweringthetransducer
aLocatethehandcrankinsidetheMotorControlUnit.
