returnedfromanyotherobjectsinthebeam.Theenergyreectedfromthese"unwanted"
objectsisreferredtoasreverberation.Reverberationisoftenalimitingfactor,especiallyif
youaresearchingforsmallertargets.

TheRCG(ReverberationControlledGain)controlsthereceiverprocessing.Thealgorithm
handleseachreceiverbeamindividually.Thelterreducestheunwantedechoesfromthe
bottomandfromtheseasurface.Thisenhancesthevisibilityofschools.
