TheOperatingPanelisttedwiththreerotaryswitches.Theswitchesareidentiedwith
numbers.Eachswitchcanbeassignedafunctionrelatedtorange,gainorbearing.
Context
TheOperatingPanelpageisusedtoselectwhichphysical
hardwarepanelyouuseonyourST90,andtoassign
functionalitytotheprogrammablebuttons.Thispage
islocatedintheInstallationdialogbox.TheInstallation
dialogboxislocatedontheSetupmenu.
Note
TheST90supportstwodifferentoperatingpanels.Thesearereferredtoas"Mk1"and
"Mk2".Inthispublicationalldescriptionsandreferencesarerelatedto"Mk2".
Procedure
1OpentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationmenuopens.This
dialogboxcontainsanumberofpagesselected
fromthemenuontheleftside.
3OntheleftsideoftheInstallationdialogbox,selectOperatingPanel.
4SelectOperatingPanelMk2.
5UnderRotarySwitchOptions,assignonefunctiontoeachrotaryswitchonthe
OperatingPanel.
Thefollowingfunctionscanbecontrolled:
•HorizontalRange:Rangesettinginthehorizontalviews.
•VerticalRange:Rangesettingintheverticalviews.
•InspectionRange:Rangesettingintheinspectionviews.Thisfunctioniscurrently
notsupportedbytheST90.
•ActivePingRange:Rangesettingintheactiveview.
•ActivePingGain:Gainsettingintheactiveview.
•ActivePingBearing:Bearingsettingintheactiveview.
