Prerequisites
Toprovideanaccuratevisualpresentation,theST90needstoknowthesizeofyourgear.
TheFishingGearfunctionallowsyoutodenethesizeofyourtrawlorpurseseine.This
functionisopenedfromtheSetupmenu.
Context
UsetheinformationintheCatchviewtomonitortheprogressofthepurseseineoperation.
IfyouhaveconnectedacompatiblecatchmonitoringsystemtoyourST90,information
fromthesesensorsareshownintheCatchview.
Procedure
1AtthebottomoftheST90presentation,selectasuitablepresentation
mode,andactivatetheCatchview.
2Tostarttheprocess:PressGearontheOperatingPanel.

Right-clickandselectShowGearSymbolontheshortcutmenu.
Thisplacesacirclemarkerintheview.Thesizeandlocationofthemarkerisdened
bythechoicesyouhavemadewiththeFishingGearfunction.Untilyouproceed,
themarkerfollowsthemovementsofthevesselbykeepingitsrelativelocationto
thebow.Thisallowsyoutopositionyourvesselinthebestpossiblelocationbefore
youshootthepurseseine.
