Restore the old version
Compare personal settings
Load the calibration data into the new version.
Procedure
Save the auralScan.exe on the PC on which aural Scan is installed.
Quit aural Scan.
Install aural Scan in the same way as the first installation. To overwrite the
old version, select the same target folder (file path).
At the first start you must:
Calibrate the axes
Enable the access to the software (after an upgrade extension).
Possible parallel installations
Productive version and test version (test folder as target folder)
aural Scan and older smart optics scanner software
Activation of access to the software
If the scanner or the last upgrade extension was purchased more than 12
months ago, you will need to enable the access to aural Scan when starting
the software.
The activation code must be purchased from your seller (reseller or
smart optics). The activation code is generated when requested by
smart optics and is usually sent on the next business day.
