10 aural Scan with Noah
aural Scan can be integrated into Noah (Manufacturer: Hearing Instrument
Manufacturers' Software Association (HIMSA)). Scanning processes start
directly from the Noah patient browser. Scan results will be assigned to a
patient in Noah and available with other actions.
10.1
Noah interface setup
The following work steps are necessary at the workstation. Further setup
steps may be necessary in the Noah administration.

Install the current Noah version as described in the Noah Knowledge
Base. Please take into account internal requirements, e.g. the installation
type.
Install aural Scan in the standard installation folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\3D-Scanner
Start Noah first, then aural Scan.
TIP
If necessary, Noah must be configured further now.
Edit the following settings in aural Scan:
Work folder
By default C:\Scans
Network path of the Noah server, local sharing with access to Noah
(according to your Noah configuration)
Interfaces: Include patient name (enabling is optional)
Interfaces: Use standby mode (enabling is mandatory).
Close aural Scan and Noah.
Noah will have recognized aural Scan automatically.
Restart Noah and select the Noah server.
Noah has a new start button for aural Scan.
