9 Scanning the ear impression
Preparation
 Start by switching on the scanner.
 Start aural Scan.
 If necessary, change the settings, e.g. file formats, impression color.
 Position one or two object holders with ear impressions (not empty object
holders).
mono Scan will scan the left and right impressions one after the other.
9.1 Starting a scan project
 Start a new scan project using one of the following methods:
 Icon “Scan”
 RETURN or ENTER (in the empty 3D-Viewer)
 Scanning a barcode (except in mono Scan)
 duo Scan Touch: Touch screen
 free Stage: Touch sensor
 Result of the scan in the 3D viewer:
Left scan, Right scan (default colors)
