Cleaning the scanner
The scanner must be cleaned regularly during operation.
The optical and electronic components inside the scanner are sensitive to
touch. If these need to be cleaned, please contact your support.
Please avoid the following inside the scanner:
Dirt and dust
3D scan spray
Moistness
Cleaning agents.
Before cleaning
Switch off the scanner.
Remove the cables.
Removing the object holders.
Materials
The following are suitable:
Microfiber cloths for high-gloss surfaces
(soft, smooth, lint-free, antistatic)
Glass cleaner to moisten the microfiber cloth
Vacuum cleaner for coarse dirt (crevice nozzle, lowest level).
The following are unsuitable:
Dry, rough cloths
Abrasives
Polishing pastes.
Cleaning
Vacuum coarse dirt from the bottom of the scanner.
Clean the surfaces with a damp microfiber cloth.
Clean the touchscreen and touch sensor (if present) without applying
pressure.
