Unpacking and connecting
 Remove the scanner and the accessories from the packaging.
 Remove the transport protection (pay attention to the needles).
TIP
Keep the packaging.
 Connect the power cable.
 Connect the USB cable:
Type B plug (square) to the scanner,
Type A plug (flat) to the PC.
 Switch on the scanner (LED switch on the front or toggle switch on the
rear).
 The scanner is ready for operation.
Installing aural Scan
 Copy the contents of the data carrier to the PC.
 Execute auralScan.exe.
 Follow the setup instructions.
 Start the software.
 Load the calibration data (folder SO-202…).
 Calibrate the axes.
 aural Scan is ready for operation.
