15 Troubleshooting
15.1
What to do in case of problems
Troubleshooting offers solutions for known problems:
Connection problems
Calibration problems
Failed axis calibration
Failed 3D calibration
Failed FTP upload
Other problems
Error messages indicate possible sources of error and give advice on
solutions.
If your problem is not mentioned or cannot be resolved, please contact your
support.
Requirements for error-free work
aural Scan is installed correctly.
The calibration data are loaded correctly.
The device care tasks are carried out regularly.
Malfunction
Do not operate the scanner in case of:
Visible damage to the hardware (scanner, accessories)
Loud or immobile axes
Measurement errors despite regular device care and correct scanning
procedures.
A technical examination is necessary in these cases. Hardware damages
must be solved by means of replacement parts and/or repairs.
