Recommendation:
Enable this option when naming with barcodes.
Default value: disabled.
Scan prefixes can be different for the left and right side
Always add side description to scan names
Side identification: anatomical location identification:
_L left, sinister
_R right, dexter
Determines how file names are formed. Makes the file names unique
(mandatory if the scan names are the same) and the assignment to a side
distinctly recognizable. No display in the 3D viewer.
Sample: Scanname_L.STL
Default value: enabled, file names are formed with _L and _R
Start matching after the scan
After scanning, all images are merged into an STL data record, filtered,
thinned and smoothed (i.e. “matched”).
Representation: Gouraud shading (unmatched: points)
If disabled, you will have to do the matching manually.
Default value: Enabled, scans are matched immediately
Fringe images (BMP)
aural Scan creates recordings of the fringe areas with the structured light
pattern as an aid for support (to find the cause of measurement errors).
When quitting aural Scan, the setting is disabled automatically.
Enable the setting if measurement errors have occurred and scan
immediately.
Default value: Disabled, aural Scan does not create BMPs

Write log file
Determines whether a project.log text file is created for scan projects
(information for project analysis). It can be exported when the work is
finished.
Default value: enabled
