Servicing Processors (FRU)
This section describes how to remove and install the processors.

1 Heatsink(s)
Note: In single-processor systems,
neither a heatsink nor a processor
socket filler are installed in the socket
for processor 1 (P1). To protect the
delicate processor socket pins, the
cover that comes on the motherboard
from manufacturing is left in place.

Note: In single-processor systems, the
processor is installed in socket 0 (P0).
