5.1.2 Output Driver Card
Output driver card front-panel items are shown in Figure 5-2. The items are
described in Table 5-2.
Active Off This card is not the
synchronization signal source
for all output cards.
If the Standby lamp on this card
is lit, none required. If the
Standby lamp on this card is
also off:
1. If the Fail lamp is lit, replace
the card; if the Fail lamp is off,
remove, then insert the card
(see Procedure 5-1).
2. Once the Freerun lamp is lit, if
the Active lamp is still off,
replace the card using
Procedure 5-1.
Green This card is the
synchronization signal source
for all output cards.
None required.
Standby Off This card is not generating an
output that is phase-locked to
the output of the other (active)
clock card.
If the Active lamp on this card is
lit, none required. If the Active
lamp on this card is also off:
1. If the Fail lamp is lit, replace
the card; if the Fail lamp is off,
remove, then insert the card
(see Procedure 5-1).
2. If the Standby lamp is still off,
replace the card using
Procedure 5-1.
Green This card is generating an
output that is phase-locked to
the output of the other (active)
clock card.
None required.
Force Active
(Pushbutton)
– When pressed, this
pushbutton forces the card to
be the active card.
