2.6 User-Supplied Tools and Materials
User-supplied tools and materials are listed below.
• Phillips-head screwdriver for installing the TimeHub 5500 Shelf in
a rack
• ESD wrist strap for installing cards
• Digital multimeter (Fluke 77 or equivalent) for verifying power
connections to the shelf
• Dual-channel oscilloscope with 100 MHz minimum bandwidth for
verifying clock input signal(s) are within the specified input voltage
range and checking output waveforms
• Laptop computer with communications software (e.g., Windows
Hyperterminal, ProComm Plus, CrossTalk) or TimeScan THC
software for setting system parameters
