7.14. DISASEMBLING THE TREAD BELT MOTOR ENCODER
Perform this operation using gloves to prevent the encoder wheel from getting dirty and
starting malfunctioning.

If the encoder is going to be reassembled
rather than replaced, take care with the
wheel “e” which is no longer secured to
the encoder group once it is removed
from the shaft.
If the encoder is replaced, use the same
model as the encoder that was
disassembled, to avoid possible
incompatibility with the motor.
