6.7. “SPEED ERROR” MESSAGE ON THE DISPLAY
The machine displays this error message if the encoder of the tread belt motor is not working.
This error message will not appear on the 500 model, which does not have a tread belt
motor encoder.
This error appears for the first time during operation of the tread belt, and causes the machine to
completely inhibit all movements, setting parameter PAR 13 to 1. As a result of this, the error
reappears when the machine is turned off and on again, but the machine will be able to function
normally in open loop mode, i.e. without using the information provided by the encoder for
controlling speed. Closed loop operation can only be resumed after resetting parameter PAR 13 to
